A Hat-Trick.

Roberto Matta.

It really is a classic November day, today it has been a gloomy dark wet Sunday when being at home is the best option.

Last night we watched Match of the Day on BBC1; there were some exciting moments in most of the Premier League games.

One which I did not find very exciting was the game between Arsenal and Manchester United, sad to see that Arsenal were not good in defence.

Shame as I thought that Steve Bold, their defensive coach and former star defender would have been able to tighten up the defence.

Yesterday there was some good news about two managers, Ian Holloway who was managing Blackpool was moving to Crystal Palace.

The other good news was that Mick McCarthy, who had been sacked from Wolves, was going to be the new manager of Ipswich.

I think it would be brilliant if Owen Coyle who Bolton had dismissed as the manager would become the new manager of Blackpool, a hat-trick of moves.

After we watched the football games last night we talked for a little bit then we had to stop and concentrate on getting ready to go to sleep.

Difficult to do for the both of us as we love to talk with each other, I inhaled two vaporiser bags THC which relax me nicely.

So much so that not long after Richie switched the lights off I was fast asleep a good way for me to end the day, going to sleep without any problems.

A Positive Attitude.

Bienvenido Bones  Banez Jr.

We watched more football last night, there were two games, and the first was between Italy and Spain.

It promised to be a great game, as Spain had won the last European championship in 2008 and the World Cup in 2010 and Italy were rated highly.

The promise was delivered on and it was an exciting game, Italy scored first and Fabregas, the ex-Arsenal striker equalised for Spain.

Fernando Torres, a Chelsea striker came on to applause from the Spanish supporters, at the end of the game the final score was Italy 1-Spain 1

After that there was a brief pause and then the next game started, which was between the Irish Republic and Croatia in Poznan, Poland.

The game started dry but as it progressed the rain started and it was a downpour, players as well as supporters were soaking wet, despite this everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Croatia seemed to have the upper hand when they scored first, Shay Given, the goalkeeper, was wrong footed and tumbled to the ground and the Croatian goal sailed straight into the net.

Ireland equalised, but then a second goal was allowed for Croatia even though it was obviously offside, unnoticed by referee.

Then an Irish player was fouled but this was not seen by the referee, who did not give them the penalty they deserved.

Croatia went on to score their third goal which left very little time for the Irish Republic to score two goals.

There was 5 min extra time added on at the end of the game for injury time, try as they might the Irish team could not manage to get two goals.

The game ended with Croatia 3-Ireland 1, very disappointing for the 25,000 Irish supporters who had travelled to support their team.

Despite the Irish team not winning, I'm sure that their supporters would have had a very enjoyable night and will now be looking forward to the next game.

A great attitude to have, it is always good to move on and get on with the next project, and not remain in the past.

More Football Fun.

Julian Trevelyan

Last night my football fun carried on, when we watched Liverpool play against Fulham.

The game started well, and again I thought I could see that the Liverpool supporters thought that their team would automatically win.

Much to the shock of Liverpool, and I think to the delight of the Fulham fans, Fulham scored just before half time.

Liverpool did everything they could when they came back for the second half of the game.

But they did not manage, no matter what they did, to score a goal, at this point, I started to feel really hopeful that the match would end without Liverpool managing a goal.

It reminded me of the old chant, when I used go to see Arsenal games, and the chant was often 1 nil to the Arsenal.

Amazingly Fulham managed to stop Liverpool scoring a goal, for the first time ever in their existence they managed to win against Liverpool at Anfield; which was a huge victory for them.

I thought it was brilliant, I really enjoy those moments in football, when the unexpected happens.

The end of this football season 2011 to 2012 is really ending in an extremely tense, nerve wracking and thoroughly enjoyable time.

It's The Tense Time of the Football Season.

Toni del Renzio

Today has been a very pleasant relaxing time; we were very late waking up again.

That's because we were up until about 02.00 AM this morning, as we watched Match of the Day on BBC1 TV, followed by the Football League Show.

It is very exciting seeing that this is the end of the Football Season, so it's in very nerve wracking for all the teams involved.

We watched a tense game between Manchester United and Everton; it ended with a score line of 4-4, which was excellent for David Moyes, the Everton manager.

This is the time of year that Alex Ferguson, the manager of Manchester United calls squeaky bum time, when everybody is either trying to win or trying to avoid relegation.

It really is a tense time, especially when the club that you follow is in the relegation zone.

Arsenal, the club I follow; because I used to live in North London while I was doing my Criminology degrees, and went to some of the games, is doing very well.

Right now they are number three, in the Premier League which means that they will have an automatic place in the Champions League football next season.

Next Sunday is the end of the football season, the big game while playing for is between Manchester city and Manchester United.
