Richie has taken Marleen and Spike down to the vets, Marleen to have her stitches out; she had a little lump nipped off her neck last week Monday.
Luckily it was not malignant and she did not need too much anaesthetic and was wide awake pretty quick and keen to go home.
Once the stitches are out both dogs will be looked at, Marleen to see if she too has mange and Spike to check that the treatment is working.
Got a call from our vets on Monday wanting to hear more details about why we had to go to the Emergency Clinic at the weekend.
The Emergency Clinic always lets the regular vet know if clients have had to use their weekend service
Hope that Richie and the dogs are back soon, planning to get out of bed and do the leg exercises with the Motomed and then go outside.
Or maybe go out first then come back and do the exercises, today is a lovely balmy warm summer day which I want to enjoy by going out.
Summer is here at last, even if only for a day, it is here and it is gorgeous, well worth the wait.
Hope of course that we will be fortunate to have, this lovely weather for the next three months that would be great.
This morning woke up feeling all the pain as soon as I was, conscious again, tried to be as quiet as possible and not wake Richie or Nur.
Felt not just the pain but all the endless hopelessness of being trapped in my body unable to move.
As soon as Richie heard me cry out he got me some THC and the pain took a back seat once more and I could relax and think of other things.
Getting involved with the world always makes me feel so much better, once I can sit up and take part everything changes again.
Today the weather has given me a huge boost that I really needed after waking up feeling so desperate.
Funny how sunshine makes things feel better, just like a positive perspective really does make life feel better.
