One year in bed today.

Today it is one year since I have been in bed 24/7, not exactly celebrating just noticing the date.

Got Richie to give the dogs a biscuit just because I had sudden upsurge of affection for the wee darlings.

They are so happy, which is quite infectious, nice to have them rush in so cheerful and happy and full of it in the mornings.

They love the morning ritual of greeting us and being cuddled and then joyfully playing to show us what fine dogs they are.

Richie made me a delicious orange and banana smoothie for breakfast and herring salad with sour cream potatoes and beetroot, fresh parsley, gherkins and a hint of hot pepper for lunch.

Just had his banana/coconut chocolate chip ice cream and a space (thc)chocolate brownie which was delicious.

The brownie is another way of consuming thc, think it will relax me as I have been in quite abit of pain today.

Richie plans to make fish and chips tonight with aioli which I love, even nicer than mayonnaise and so much healthier because there are no eggs involved, just garlic and olive oil.

It is one of those hot days where it looks intermittently not so nice but it is just that there are many clouds around today.

So one minute the sky is blue and the sun hot and then a whole swathe of clouds pass by and it gets cool and darker only for the sun to pop up out from the clouds.

Listening to Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode doing the Friday afternoon film review, Kermode, its a good listen.

Tonight at 7.30 there is a new program which I am curious about with Fred Macaulay, a good Scottish comedian.

Followed by the Archers, which is on everyday at 8 pm, the program has been on the radio since the 1950’s, it is about a small farming community somewhere in England, called Ambridge.

Can hardly believe that it is already 5 pm here, we had a very slow and relaxed start to the day today which was very pleasant.

I have been joining Richie this week and having a wee cup of coffee when he
does and this morning we had a very leisurely cup while the dogs played around us.

The cake is working I am starting to feel more relaxed and the pain in my legs has retreated into the background.

Have a very good Friday.
