About trying to live with ms and discovering that suddenly most places are inaccessible and that life as a handicapped person is very different.

My belief is in humanity and not in religion.
My belief is in humanity and not in religion.
Have become more aware of this as my disability has increased.
It is very important for people to live together in communities and help each other.
Caring for each other helps keep the bonds between people strong.
This capitalist society is all about alienating us from each other.
It’s all about the exploitation of the planet and us.
We don’t need to buy self-help books or finance a guru.
We all have the power to make changes in our lives and the lives of others.
All we need is to believe in ourselves.

around about christmas time, as i was trying to explain to people that i really didn't want anything, tat i'd rather they gave to someone who was in more need than me, i thought of a bit of a line from a song by sting - "can we live here and be happy with less," and i started seeing all the STUFF filling my house, and how little of it i actually used, and thoughts about consuming and commercialism and such filed my head. they still do.
