Thanks for your mail Anne with information about the donut pillow.
Never seen any like you describe here, the ones here are inflatable like small swimming rings.
Do you sit on it during the day and alternat between that ad your normal cushion?
Hello Diane, would love to know what A&D ointment is, hope you sees this and let me know. Looked on your site for a way to send

Herrad, A+D Ointment is some of the greatest stuff to have on hand. It is marketed as a baby diaper rash ointment, but it can be used in many different ways. I have a horn-player friend who uses it on her lips. I've used it in places that may have gotten raw after too much friction. Personally, I always have the Original Formula on hand.
The ingredients include: Petrolatum (53.4% - Skin Protectant), Lanolin (15.5% - Skin Protectant), Cod Liver Oil (contains Vitamin A & Vitamin D), Fragrance, Light Mineral Oil, Microcrystalline Wax, Paraffin.
It's definitely worth a try.
Look in the baby section of the grocery store or drug store for A&D ointment. It can also be had where there are maternity supplies.
Get a small tube for starters. Not everyone likes the smell.
This cushion is meant to relieve the pressure especially in coccyx (tailbone) area.
I'd say to alternate between the two cushions, but professionals tell me the donut should be used until sore dissipates.
I would rather alternate, since your bum can get numb from being in one place too long. LOL
Here is a link to see what it looks like and how much it costs. You can order it from this site without a doc order. It costs $10 USA

I hope you can get the A & D ointment there. If not, perhaps you can order it mail order from drugstore.com and it can be delivered to your home. Here is a link to A & D one pound size cost is $9.35 USA.

Please take care of this sore before it becomes bigger and worsens. This is a very troubling issue for people who are not mobile. You must rotate your weight often to relieve the pressure on that one spot.
Hope the links above help.
Take care,
Anne
