About trying to live with ms and discovering that suddenly most places are inaccessible and that life as a handicapped person is very different.

More Silver Linings.
Thanks for your lovely comments about my darling Richie, really appreciated them very much, do like my darling to get all the recognition and praise he can.
He deserves it all and more for the way he looks after me so very well, and with so much love, kindness and care and attention.
My life is so different now since the MS diagnosis, but because of Richie it is still filled with love and laughter.
We still love to spend time together talking about all sorts and generally putting the world to rights
.
Today I decided that I needed him to get me out of bed and shower me as soon as possible as I woke up and discovered that my t-shirt was totally perspired, all damp and clammy.
Richie was a darling, he took the dogs down the road and once he got back we headed off to the bathroom.
After that I did my leg exercises at the Motomed and returned to bed feeling very relaxed and ready to see my kind physiotherapist.
It is Thursday once again, so Mathilde will be here shortly for our 30 minutes of exercise, looking forward to it very much.
Tomorrow Marianne will come round to visit, today her brother in law Jo is waiting to hear what type of treatment he will receive.
Very worrying for him and his partner Irene, Marianne's sister, hope for them that the prognosis for treatment is positive.
Jo is someone I have never met or even spoken to but I feel that I know him; he has sent me a few mails and was very helpful in sending me links for audio books online.
He always says hello and sends me his regards via Marianne so I feel that he is a good friend, Marianne certainly is.
Well Mathilde came and supervised my 30 minutes and then went on her way, hopefully making her other clients feel as good as I do after she has been here.
Ton Peeks from the RCA could not come by this week instead he will be here next week Wednesday with Dr. Smits.
Richie told me last night that it looks like the ting wound is healing hope that is so and there is progress.
Be so good if Ton and Dr. Smits could give us good news next week that would be wonderful.
I am so ready to go out as soon as that is possible, in fact I am rearing to go, just a hint of a possibility that this can happen has given me an enormous boost.
More silver linings.

Oh, I hope that Richie is right and that the tiny spot is healed right away. How is your hand today? hopefully no more problems there. At least not yet. I had PT today as well, and asked her to go a little tougher on me. [I know - be careful what you wish for...]
Hi Herrad:
I am hoping and praying that with the practice of getting out of bed, transferring to get a shower, graduating to sitting up in your chair for short periods, that maybe you can wheel outside for 15 minutes a day to start and build up from there.
Something to look forward to and to mark on your goal calendar.
Take care,
Anne
Here's hoping that darn wound goes away! Fingers crossed and prayers for you!
Have a wonderful day!
Love,
Erin
