This Blog has a heart award from Webster

Last night was just too hot again, so did not get to sleep until it was nearly light around 5 am.

Thought I had gone to sleep, then became more aware of my surroundings and realised that the music had longed stopped and I was lying in bed totally immobile and awake.

Luckily Richie got up to go to the toilet and I could ask him for a bag of THC, this seemed to do the trick and I dozed off for awhile.

After a short time realised that I was still awake and totally incapable of doing anything to alter my position.

Being immobile really upsets me, I started thinking about never walking, no never moving again and could feel my eyes filling up, if I had carried on for a second too longer, I would have been in floods of tears.

Everything seemed so bleak, not only am I immobile but incapable of moving anything significant?

Luckily when I had the second bag that finally got me asleep at last.

Was woken up eventually as usual by the sudden jolt of a spasm which seemed to move me down in the bed quite violently.

Once this has woken me up it is tremendously difficult to go back to sleep again, I do try but mostly without any success.

Richie got up right away, when he heard me moaning in pain and fetched some thc for me, this enabled me to do the arm exercises and Richie did the leg exercises and massage.

Once I have taken the baclofen and drank a delicious smoothie of oranges, banana and strawberry I was ready to start the day.

Got a lovely surprise, not long after I turned on the laptop and saw Webster’s comment in my inbox this morning.

Went straight to Webster’s blog@Halt Stop Relax Forget

http://hsfr.blogspot.com/

as I was so amused by her comment which ended in ‘’oh, fearless one’’ so I and wanted to quickly see what the surprise was that she had in store there for me.

So I went over real quick as I was intrigued why she seemed to be teasing me, which I thought was so very nice.

When I got there I was amazed to see Webster’s post and the award, which I had not expected.

This Blog Has A Heart.

Here is what she wrote:

‘’Don't be getting all excited. This is a special award for a special person who speaks the truth from her heart about difficult issues better than anyone I know. Herrad, this is for you.

You have touched me in ways I cannot fathom, and I hope for lovely pain free days for you and Richie and Spike and Marlene’’

Webster you have made my day today.

Thanks dear friend hope you have a good day too.

Well it is boiling hot today so as I did not sleep too well I shall take it easy today.

Herrad - when I saw Webster's blog post this morning, I thought she'd hit the nail right on the head.

I often read Skip your daily postings in the evening, when we're relaxing in the living room. She especially appreciated your post from yesterday. You articulate so well much of what she is feeling; it helps me to understand better what she's going through.

That's nice Herrad, it's a pretty award too! I agree that you are fearless and definitely show your heart on your sleeve...respect!!!

I hope you have a cooler day, it's cooled down quite a bit here actually, got some laundry out on the line to dry. Yesterday I put my towels out at 9am and by 3pm they were still damp from the humidity!
