Dr. Who Estar Special.

Modern French Art.

Woke up today to cloudy grey skies and rain, it got worse for Richie and the dogs when they went round the block for their morning walk.

It started to rain heavily as they turned back to the house; think they were all happy to be back indoors dry again.

Luckily nothing dramatic happened today when Richie got me out of bed, he showered me and rinsed the catheter bag with a saline solution.

He does this once a week when he changes the bag and then got me dressed in a clean top and leggings.

After the Motomed exercises Richie put me back in bed, we had a lovely late brunch which was good, and then I wanted to check my mail but had a problem getting connected.

Horrible, before I could get into panic mode, I turned off and started the laptop up again and still no internet connection did a restart and again nothing.

Richie had to go out and do the shopping, when he came back he had a look and did some diagnostics and sorted it for me.

Finally after what seemed forever I was online this made me extremely happy thought at one stage that it would not be happening today.

Really brilliant to be online again, had done my best to stay positive, started off trying to keep calm and relaxed.

That sort of worked then I noticed that I was starting to feel resigned not relaxed about not being able to listen to the radio or visit blogs or read the newspapers and write this post.

Relaxed or waiting patiently was ok with me but not resigned, hope to never be resigned, sounds a state of being that I do not want to experience ever.

Well the rain has set in now for the evening, going to stop and find pictures and post this and sit back and watch the Estar Weekend Dr. Who special with the new doctor.

Can hardly wait, will for sure enjoy it tremendously.

Have a good Estar Weekend everyone, sure we will.

Please have you all a blessed Easter Sunday.

wait, I think I may have remembered my original point -

just imagine if your internet is connected to your phone and they go out together! One will tell you that for your convenience you may use the other - well, thanks for nothing.

These things are so much more frustrating to deal with since my MS; you have my sympathies.

"Meet someone new?"
Thanks, that feels nice, somebody thinks I'm new!

I hope you also have a nice weekend,
Lorraine

Hi Iamascatterbrain,
Thanks for your visit and comment and sympathy.
What a terrible situation having phone and internet not work at the same time.
You have my sympathies too.

Thanks both of you for coming by.
Have a pleasant weekend.

Oh Herrad, isn't is a bit of a panic when there isn't an internet connection? It's not like a lot of us are out and about rubbing elbows with the fleshies very often! Glad it got fixed - happy easter.

Hi Herrad, the Internet surely is a connection to the world and to other people, glad it was restored.

Happy Easter and a nice Sunday to you and Richie and the dogs.

Hello Herrad,
I am glad that Richie was able to get your internet connection working. I don't know what I would do without mine and I don't want to find out.
Your blog is very inspiring and educational. I read it everyday and am always rooting for your wound to heal quickly.
It is very nice how comprehensive the home health care you receive is, it seems like there is a very good system in your country.
Happy Easter!

Are you saying that your internet connection died, and then was resurrected? How appropriate for the holiday weekend.

BR and I are throwing an Easter Chapeau party today. Hope to have some pictures up tomorrow. Wish you could be here.

Hi Stephany,

You are correct the internet is vital in order to communicate with you and other blog friends.

Hi Dawn,
Thanks for your visit and comment.
Lovely to meet you, happy to hear you enjoy reading my blog.
It is unnerving when the internet connection does not work.
At the moment the care system works here, hope it stays like this.
