Autumnal Friday and Jools Holland.

Jools Holland.

Autumn pictures.

Slept reasonably ok but towards morning spasms were disturbing me quite alot so every time I dozed off a spasm would wake me abruptly.

Yesterday was a bright warm sunny day, so warm that the window was wide open all afternoon.

Hated it this morning that I disturbed Richie, hate it happening daily, but can’t seem to stop it.

All involuntary noises, often wake myself up, and at first I don’t know why I am awake, then I hear it is me.

Weird.

Also weird is how come I move around in bed although I can not move at all, all involuntary both sounds and movement.

It is a different life now, easier now that I am not constantly comparing it to the past, have to remind myself to stay in the here and now right now.

Very grey today no glimpse of sun nor is there any sky visible just a grey lid over the city and no sound of bird calls.

Even the blue tits have ceased flying back and forth between the trees and the bird feeder outside my bedroom window.

Even Spike and Marleen are lying low today, think they would like it better if Richie were to take them to the woods again just like yesterday.

Our lovely neighbour Willes came to visit yesterday and to help with the post, she was here for 3 hours which was very pleasant.

Especially the dogs that got a mega walk, first they ran next to the bike up to the Amsterdam woods and then went mental, swimming and playing ball.

Two contented dogs returned with Richie at 6 pm and after their dinner they snoozed happily around us in the bedroom.

It is a sweet sight two happy, content dogs.

Richie is getting me out of bed for a hair cut and shower so I can be all ready to enjoy the evening, looking forward to seeing and hearing the bands and singers on Later with Jools on BBC 2 TV.

The weather has changed again; it has got cooler so think that was what woke me up so early today.

Hope that you all have a good day today.

Movement for me has always been connected to my inner voice.
Sometimes demanding to run, as if to escape life, other times to remain upon my chair for a whole day - probably escaping as well, even though not moving.
Spend many hours today/tonight thinking about movement and its meaning for me.
Hope that this first weekend of October will be a good one for you. Thank you for the pictures, as it has been years since last I walked and played with autumn leaves.

Hi Herrad,

Hope you enjoy watching your show. I think maybe I'll read this evening. I have library books that I have not touched. Fall is definitely here, though it might hit 70F at the end of next week - today was 55F; into the 40s at night - duvet weather for sure.

Hi JC,

Hi Robert,

Guess that is also movement.

Hi Webster,
Later with Jools was brilliant, his nr 1 guest was Gladys Knight and she brought the house down.
Jools was in heaven having Gladys sititng next to him on the piano stool while he tinkled the ivories.
It was the best.

Thanks all you sweet people for coming by and leaving comments.
Have a good day.
