Remembering Judi
Very sad news on Judi's blog @ Life as a Hospice Patient
http://judi-lifeasahospicepatient.blogspot.com/
She died on Saturday evening, she slipped off quietly after alot of pain and discomfort during the day.
So glad that I found her blog last year, reading her posts and finding out about the work she did soon made me appreciate and love her.
By summertime last year she was a good friend, getting a mail from her would make my day.
She was a wonderful woman who will be remembered by many.

I am so sorry to hear that. I found her blog through yours. I looked at it for a while. I must admit that with time, I did stop .. couldn't keep up on all the blogs I'd found.
She did seem to have had a grand life though. Until, she got so sick ...
I'll go read what was posted about her ...

It is sad that she is not alive anymore.
It was a huge shock reading on her blog that she was dead.
Funny how despite knowing that she was dying it was still such a surprise.
Hope tomorrow is a good day for you.
Keep warm.

Herrad

Dear Herrad,
makes one sad indeed to hear about the loss of a friend. Yet, assume that she was able to live her life as much as possible, anything likewise to a hospice over here is unthinkable.
Hi Herrad - I read this post earlier today, just before BR's hospice intake. Judi's blog has been such a great resource for us as we wrestled with the hospice decision -- throwing light on a part of life few people take the time to document. She went peacefully and with a full awareness that she was approaching the end.
I need to keep reminding myself that hospice care doesn't define the amount of time a person has left. It just makes sure that person has what they need when they need it. And for that, I'm glad BR is now in hospice care.
Hi Robert,
Thanks for your visit and comment, you are right it is sad hearing about a friends death.
Glad she is not suffering anymore, but sad she is gone.
Very happy I got to know here via her blog.
