Better Days To Come This Spring And Summer.

Landscape Art.

Sadly won't be going to the market today as the weather has got very unpleasant and it is now cold and raining steadily.

What splendid good fortune I had on Thursday for my first trip outside, I am disappointed about missing out on the market today but hope to get outside later on this afternoon.

The warm weather on Thursday was blown away by the thunderstorm and torrential rain during all of Thursday night.

Real shame that the warm weather had vanished for Queen's Day and been replaced by wet weather, we heard that lots of people had to hastily pack up their wares and try to get indoors and dry on Thursday
.
So many people were very disappointed that the beautiful balmy weather we had did not extend to Friday.

Maybe next year will be better weather for this popular public holiday, next year it is on a Saturday and unlike England you do not get the Monday of work instead.

Remember how very shocked I was when I realised that there were less public holidays here in Holland, than in most countries.

Looking forward to Richie getting me into the wheelchair and then I will be looking for the first signs of the rain stopping so that we can get outside again.

Keeping my eyes peeled for the first signs of the weather improving.

While I wait I will send an e-mail to our landlord and remind them of various items that need remedying ASAP.

Good to be mobile, I immediately noticed a few things that need action.

Please visit Steve today is the Memorial party for BobRobert in Belcher where they will have a good wake for Steve’s much loved partner.

Hope that we all continue to support Steve in these difficult first weeks of his bereavement.

Let’s weave a web of support and friendship and caring around the globe for Steve.

Please visit The Wheel of Fortuna and leave Steve a supportive comment.

Hi Stephany,
It's been forever gettng back outside, there were moments where I did not think it would ever happen mostly I did not even think about outside. It was better not to and just focus on what I had around me.

Thanks both of you for coming by.
Have plans for next week which include going to the market and visiting our neighbour Willes and getting to the park with Richie and the dogs.
Have a good Sunday.
Love,

Hi Herrad,

Yes, I became concerned it was taking so long to get outside, I have personally anticipated this day (outside) for you for so long now, it really brings a smile to my face to know you've been able to do this with Richie and the dogs.

What a golden moment, and I hope many more for you in this near future.

I also thank you for reminding people to leave support for Steve, I imagine now, after the Memorial, and relatives come and go, he will be having some hard times learning to live without his beloved partner Bobrobert.

HUGS to you and Richie and Spike and Marleen too.

I love all your images, but particularly the first one. May you have plenty of opportunities to visit the locations that inspired these landscape painting.
