Caring And Sharing Is Crucial For Human Survival

Tie Dye Art.

The weather has got very cold and wet with a cold sharp wind, it is so cold we have the heating back on today.

Guess I won't be going out today, but I will be sitting in my wheelchair and be with Richie and the dogs in the front room.

Disappointed that again today the sudden inclement weathe is stopping me having a trip around the block with Richie and the dogs.

Won't get too sad as I know that whenever the weather improves I will be out there with my darling and our two dogs.

Know that this year my perspectives are so much better than this time last year, this time I can sit again and go out and I will be taking advantage whenever I can.

Looking forward now and not back, it is amazing that I spent so long in bed, think I would have been in shock had Ton told me in August 2008 that it would take so long.

Glad now that I did not know it then, altough I guessed pretty quickly that it was going to be longer than the initial 2 to 3 weeks.

In the end it has been closer to two years in bed then 2 weeks.

What a thing to have lived through but I did and I did it thanks to Richie's love and good care and the friendship and support and love of all our friends.

Thanks to all our blog friends for all your wonderful support, it has and still gives me a huge boost to see your comments and get your e-mails.

Mutual support is very important for us all that is why it is important we keep giving Steve @ The Wheel of Fortuna support

Especially now after the Memorial for BobRobert yesterday in Belcher, this is the time when the grieving for BobRobert will really start.

Hope we can keep givng the support we have been giving Steve, please vist

I am so grateful for you to have a life outside of your bed, Herrad. It must be wonderful to trek around the block. I hope your weather warms up soon.

A big wish goes out into the world for help for the Vietnamese Rhino! Please, please, please...

I'll stop by and say hello to Steve. One never knows if one is intruding at this time in his life. Maybe he only wants visitors that knew BobRobert, or have been around for awhile?

I'm sorry about the dreary weather - but as SOON as the sun comes out, I know you guys will all be outside. And that makes me smile.

Time is an interesting thing - we gain an entirely different perspective looking back than we think we will looking ahead. I don't know if that makes sense...but still. Oh well - I hope that you have a WONDERFUL Monday and are outside asap!

Hi Herrad
Been meaning to drop by and say hi - I've been reading blogs on my iPhone whilst travelling which is not easy to leave comments!
I'm so very glad that things are looking up for you... I'll do a little sun dance for some more nice weather for you

Hugs
Nat

Hi Mort,
It was brilliant being outside again.
Did not think you were too American at all.

Hi Nancy,
Outside was good and will be as soon as the wind and rain are gone again.
Think Steve needs and appreciates all our support.

Hi Marit,
As soon as the weather is good I will be out there.
Your thought on perspective of looking back is good.

Hi Nat,
Lovely seeing your comment.
Its brilliant that life is looking up.

Hi Rain,
Its amazing that it was 3 weeks and became 20 months.

Thanks everyone for coming by and leaving your comments.
Life is slowly getting better.
Have a good Wednesday.
Love,
Herrad
