1904.
Next week Monday, I will be getting my new wheelchair
seat, followed by another appointment with Maurits, my occupational therapist.
I hope then that we will be getting closer to a
solution for the problem I am experienced trying to maintain an upright sitting
position for longer than 5 minutes.
It’s really extremely dispiriting to be constantly slumping
despite Richie’s best efforts, already today Richie has adjusted me every few
minutes since midday, its now 15, and still more adjustments are needed
Since the colder autumn weather started very abruptly
on Tuesday, we have had lots of rain, last night after the lightning show and
again this morning, real tropical showers.
We also had good news from the vet, Marleen’s results
were back from the lab, everything is ok, it was a non malignant lump.
We were both very relieved, I had not realised quite how
worried I had been, until the vet’s assistant phoned us.
So nice to go into the weekend with good news, pleased
that I managed to put it out of my mind, I did not want to upset myself unnecessarily.
Happy that I managed to succeed and not get in a right
state, really glad that I did not get upset for nothing.
I am pleased with myself for being able to put it out
of my mind, I did it so successfully I forgot all about it, until the
phone rang.
