Trying To Stay Positive.

Today at lunchtime I phoned Quattron to find out when the support cushion would be here and was told it had been sent to the Rehabilitation Clinic on Monday.

I said this is not the arrangement made last week Friday, it was agreed that the cushion would be brought here.

The man from Quattron said this was not known to him, it had been sent to my Occupational Therapist.

I can’t believe this has happened, especially as the arrangement made last Friday was that it would be adjusted on Monday and delivered back to me today.

Finding out that it has been sent to the clinic on Monday is upsetting, my Occupational Therapist should have informed me it was there.

I heard nothing, only a mail from her Wednesday late to say she was sick and would not be at work for the rest of the week.

So much for getting the support cushions today, more waiting and I can not be sure that the cushion got adjusted on Monday.

Sounds like it just got sent, hope that it Quattron did take 10 cm’s oiff the height of the cushion, so I can use the cushion for support when sitting up.

If they have not made the adjustment the support cushion is no use to me, I am trying my best to stay positive and optimistic.

Really hope that I will not be disappointed again next week,

Hi Gareth,
I could not believe it when I phoned Quattron to hear that the cushion had been sent to the rehab clinic on the Overtoom.
This was not the promise made by the rep Dennis Klein.
I hope it has been adjusted as otherwise will have to wait to get it after Dennis is back from his holiday on 25 July.
This started on 26 January, looks like it maybe 6 months before I get the cushion.
Love,
Herrad

Hi Mary,
Thanks for your kind words, I hope this weekend will be pleasant despite the huge diappointment.

Hi Janis,
Thanks for your kind words, I am dire doggy love will help.

Thanks for your visits, good to see your comments.
I could not believe it yesterday when I heard where the cushion had been sent.
This was not what had been promised by the rep.
I hope that my OT will bring it here next week.
Patience getting thin now.
Love,
Herrad

This makes me livid. Get Herrad the damn cushions!!

Incompetent people should be terminated, this is beyond intolerable!

I'm sorry you have to suffer at the hands of complete idiots Herrad!

UGH!!

Hang in there, if they are not there Monday, call the locals newspaper and television news, take this to the media, and give them bad press!

Hi Stephany,
Thanks for your comment, feeling your anger gave me a huge boost.
Sadly do not think the local paper or TV would be interested or supportive.
They were not interested when we were waiting for so long for a new accessible applartment.
I was stuck indoors only able to go out if I was carried by a couple of people from the mobility bus.
Twice a week I spent a few hours at the rehabilitation clinic.
So from June 2006 until we moved in May 2007 I was spending most of my time indoors.
By the time we got a place with a lift I could not go out alone.
Waiting has become a central theme and I do not have the time.
It really is here and now for me.
Love,
Herrad
