Thinking about..............

Freshly made ravioli filled with cauliflower/fresh basil leaves/roasted pine nuts and halumi (cheese)all minced apart from nuts and baked in a rich aubergine/tomato sauce with shards of parmesan. Lots of garlic/black pepper and wine to richen the sauce.
Dessert of fresh lemon custard tart

Or

Trinidad chicken curry or salt fish curry with roti's fresh tamarind and aubergine pickle and mango chutney and onion relish.

Dessert fresh mango sorbet.

Or

Hake steak marinaded in garlic/ginger with a shot of soya sauce and white wine and fried with onions/garlic black pepper and served with chips and tomato and olive salad, parsnip and sweet potato crisps and freshly made mayonnaise.
Dessert Apple and Plum crumble with fresh lemon custard.

Just dreaming as can't cook anymore.

Luckily Richie is an excellent cook and cooks beautiful for us.

These are the foods we shared when I came over to see you and Richie and you both cooked with an amazing labour of love and we had such brilliant times together...its wonderful to have had those times together as who would have known then what we know now! LIFE and all we take with us are the lessons we learn in life...
I have only ever had the aubergine pickle with Richie and you so it took me back for sure and then I was also reminded of Daisy, Spike and Marlene and how their food was always freshly cooked, also with great love and they too feasted merrily...lovely memories...
