It was a very pleasant visit with our neighbour Willes and another good friend Cecile yesterday afternoon and the pink sparkling wine and nibbles.

We had a very pleasant evening, Richie cooked a nice dinner of cous cous with a delicious mixture of tomatoes, aubergine, carrot, brocolli and fried cubes of halumi (cheese from Cyprus) and chocolate brownie for dessert.

A very yummy dinner indeed.

Slept really well, wonder if that means I need friends visiting every day with sparkling wine.

Woke up at 10 am this morning which was wonderful, had expected to wake up earlier as usual, this can be anytime between 6 and 8 am.

But 10 am, I was well pleased, as soon as I felt the pain had woken up got Richie to get me some thc and baclofen.

The leg exercises and massage really helped to take alot of tension out of my leg muscles.

Been so well looked after today, had another great fruit smoothie with orange, apple, pear, cranberry juice, carrot and strawberries.

Had toast with home made peanut butter and some rollmop herring salad with beetroot, potato and sour cream.

The weather has cooled down considerably, it was 28 degrees on Monday and has slowly come down must be about 18 degrees now not cold exactly.

But by contrast it is also it is a grey overcast day with the sun popping out briefly through the day for minutes at a time.

Got so cool mid afternoon when a dark cloud was overhead that Richie put on the heating for 10 minutes.

Well I am all set for a pleasant evening with my darling Richie.

Just want to say a special hello to Mort of Caring and Sharing and to wish him well.

Shall miss him posting on his blog but can understand that there are times when you need to do other things.

Hi Herrad! Well, the pool did some good, but the headache is still there!! I actually think it has to do with tension in my neck so I'm off to lie down with a heating pad! I love that pink bicycle!!! I would definitely commute on that, the dogs could fit in nicely, lol! Oh, I think we all need pink sparklies some days, ha ha! I'm glad you had a great day and your meals do sound delish!!!

I was just starting to get to know Mort, I'll miss his blogs, but I completely understand why he's stopping.

You should be heading to bed now, young lady, since it's just after 5pm my time! :-)

Hi Rain,

Hope the heated pad in your neck worked.

That pink bike would be perfect for you and Winston and Spencer.

Can just visualise you all on the bike, lovely.

Do you have bikes like that in Canada?

Well not long now and it will be lights out, we do not usually sleep before 1am.

Hope you have a good evening.
Love,
Herrad

I hoping you have many more days of pleasant visitors, good food & sparkling wine :-).

I'll miss Mort so; perhaps we will all miss him so much we may drive him back into blogging at some time in the future. ~Mary

Hi Mary,

Will for sure miss Mort hope he comes back too.

Am planning next weeks visits, Cecile left a bottle in the fridge for the next time.

I can choose the moment as long as I let her know it is gone, then she can bring a new one with her.

A nice arrangement!

Hi Stephany,

The dinner was very tasty indeed.
Must enquire what is in store for me tonight.

Very exciting, for lunch its german rollmop herring salad with potato, beetroot, fresh parsley and sour cream and a shot of pepper sauce. Yummy!

Have a good day.
Love,
Herrad

Hi Herrad! Good afternoon for you, just waking up to my coffee for me, I slept in, and really late too! 9am is unheard of...lol. I know it was from the swimming and the pain killers, yey the headache is gone, but my neck still has a wee crick in it. I was woken up though at 2am from Winston whining and barking. He's trying a new food this week, the vet says that although my home made diet for him is good, that his blood work might improve with a special kidney formula...so the poor guy had to go poop at 2am! I'm slowly changing the food over the next few days, but his system still needs to get used to it. I was utterly impressed that he woke me up to take him out! Smarty pants huh?

No, we don't have bikes like that here, and it's a shame! It would encourage people to use their cars less!

Hope you are having a pleasant afternoon!

I love the pictures of the swans! Is that a heron in one of the photos? I love birds, and not just because my last name is Eagle, ha-ha!
Been crazy-busy, not because of my MS, but Tim's juvenile diabetes....as I always say, at least my cat "children" are all healthy...and I'm never bored.....take care! Meg

Hi Meg,

Thanks for coming by, the bird is a heron, there are lots here.
People feed them fish they buy specially for them.
