From Stephany.

From Kimberly.

Went to sleep very late last night, Gareth left at 12.15 and we listened to Taj Mahal

http://www.mahalo.com/taj-mahal-musician

Great program and lovely to hear Taj talking as he has a lovely voice seems quite a fellow.

This morning I woke up too quickly for my liking and it felt instantly very painful, everything that hurt yesterday was back and if anything more painful than yesterday.

OucH!

Arm and leg exercises and lots of thc and Baclofen helped as did the delicious Pakistani mango that I ate for breakfast.

Our visit from Gareth was brilliant and made a total contrast to what happened to Richie when he took Marleen and Spike to the dog toilet at the end of our street.

A man who was down by the dog toilet with an out of control dog (dog previously attacked Spike) off the lead let his dog attack Marleen.

Really out of control if the dog attacks bitches, after the dog attacked Marleen the man started shouting aggressive at Richie and tried to attack Richie who took the dogs and came home very angry and upset.

So upset that I guess if it were me I would be either organising how to get the dogs to a safe dog loo or working out how they could use our toilet.

So now he 0ios using a dog toilet up the street which is similar distance just not round the corner from us so not really the logical way to walk from our flat.

Talked to our neighbour upstairs as she knows a lot of people in the neighbourhood, she did not know much about the man, just knew he lived on our street.

Just what you do not need is an aggressive man with an aggressive dog, he seemed to be fuelled by drugs probably coke when Richie encountered him yesterday evening.

Will just have to wait and see what happens don’t like the idea of being kept from using facilities near to our building because of a knuckle dragging so and so.

On a brighter note have just been given two awards:

Compromiso Educativo Award from Stephany@:Soulful Sepulcher

http://bipolarsoupkitchen-stephany.blogspot.com/

And A Positive Attitude Award from Kimberly@Living my l/ife with MS.

Please go by these two blogs they are both very well written and from the heart.

Well I am going to enjoy today.

Have a good day too.

Gosh Herrad, that's terrible about that man. I don't believe dogs are born aggressive or bad, it's the useless humans that teach them to be that way. I had to stop bringing my dogs to a dog park, when I lived in Montreal, for the exact same reason. The German Shepherd wasn't aggressive, but he was big and wanted to roughly play...the first time it happened, Winston and Spencer ran over between my legs and I had to scare the dog away with a stick because his dumbass owner wasn't doing anything. The second time we went, same thing, and that's when Winston started to fight back and bit the dog. The owner was enraged, threatening me...so I called the cops and he got a ticket because Winston was on a leash and his dog wasn't. I felt bad for the dog though because Winston knows how to defend himself! I never went back there, I think in this case, if the guy is a cokehead, Richie and the kids would be much safer elsewhere...is this something you could call the cops about?

Hi Rain,

Good for Winston what a good dog standing up to the bully.

Thanks for your concern.

Yes it is worrying especially as he lives just down the road, only recently moved there according to my neighbour who works for the cops.

She was going to enquire about him at her work.

Richie is taking the dogs to another dog toilet which is the same distance.

Have a good day.
Love,
Herrad

A drugged up aggressive man with his aggressive dog, perhaps I should not talk, since my cat(a long while back) bit a neighbor & drew some serious blood for a little cat, but the man/dog scene isn't something you 2 need. Call the police next time?

Hi Mary,

Thanks for your comment, Richie is taking the dogs to another toilet.

Told our neighbour who works for the cops.

Have a good Saturday.

Herrad

Hi Herrad! Oh poor Richie and the dogs! That's awful, I would definitely want to avoid that situation too.

hugs to you, Richie, Spike and Marleen!

Hi Stephany,

Richie is avoiding that part of our road and now goes somewhere else.

Have a good afternoon and evening.

First, congrats on your lovely awards, you sure deserve them, esp the Positive Thinking award!

That is just horrible about that man and his dog -- I hope it works out ok for Richie to take the dogs to a different area.

Hope you are having a nice weekend, take care of yourself! ~hugs

Hi Oz Girl,

Thanks for coming by, it is really horrible what happened last night.
Richie is going off to another dog toilet and thats ok but it is not nice to feel you can not walk around on your own street.

Hope your weekend is good.
Love,
Herrad

Herrad, that is horrible about that man and his dog. I don't know if the same rules apply there as they do here but he and his dog should be reported. What if that dog attacks again? I am glad there is another location you can go to but it shouldn't have to be that way.
