Sunny Freezing Cold Day.

Wow it is a sunny day, icy and sunny, Richie said the only safe place to walk was in the middle of the road.

Since the snow fell Tuesday it has become icy and very slippery outside, the snow has become totally compacted.

It does not look very nice anymore; think there are lots of people who are wishing for this cold winter wonderland to stop now.

The snow was lovely when it fell for the Winter Solstice on 20 and 21 December, but now the excitement has worn off.

One nice thing about the snow and the bitter cold wind is that we get to sleep longer as no one wants to hang around outside in these temperatures.

Really noticed the beneficial effect of getting the good news about my carer's allowance yesterday.

I even got back to sleep without needing any additional THC that was a noticeable bonus.

Brilliant to wake up and drift off again, also happened this morning, and woke up when Richie closed the window.

Felt pretty good when I woke up properly later on at 10 am, first thing that I thought of was the carer's allowance.

Brilliant not to have anything to worry about, really good to feel relaxed about life again.

Great to know that Richie's hard work will be paid, I shall put a reminder in my diary for July 2011 to apply for an extension.

I intend to enjoy today, am going to listen to the film review program on Radio Five with Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode.

It's amazing how we can see in hindsight. I used to think so many things didn't bother me all that much, but once things were resolved, the relief was very apparent! So glad for you Herrad, and for Richie!! :)

Hi Rain,
Thanks for coming by, it is always amazing to notice how much stress there is when things are suddenly resolved.
I slept very well last night because of the xgood news.
Have a good Friday.

Countless time, that I did end up on me back, while walking to school in the morning through the winter months.
Thank you for that memory - please have you all a nice start into the weekend.

Happy to hear your news. Love those pictures. I hope for early spring. We saw wild Tom turkeys fanning out. Must be spring soon. Love, Mary

Hope Richie fixes you something warm and sweet to drink today. A nice hot cup of cocoa, maybe?

Hi Robert,
Glad you have such fond memories of winter time when you were at school.
Wonder what winter is like for you now.

Hi Mary,
How lovely that you see wild turkeys.
Just had a look at a woodchuck been curious since you mentioned them.
Quite cute in a grumpy sort of way.

Hi Stephany,
You are right worry wears you down, love how good this new lack of worry feels to me.
Saturday is starting very nicely, hope yours will too.
