Jimi Hendricks T-Shirt.

1960's.

Strange night last night, we wanted to totally change our routine as we have been staying up later and later.

Tried to go to sleep earlier and although I initially slept quickly I woke up very soon after and could not get back off, in the end it might have been easier to stay up later.

It is what naturally happens when we are together, time loses its meaning and becomes elastic, we enjoy spending time together and forget about its meaning.

Always have and always been bemused that we started talking just a few hours ago and it is now 3 am…shock horror …3 am ?!!

The other thing about us is we have always been very close, also physically, very cuddly and mentally very in tune often I will say something and find Richie had the same idea too.

Or I will ask for something to happen, like the light be switched on at the very moment he was going to do just that.

It is funny when it is little things, often it’s about other things, like I will say I really fancy lasagne tonight and Richie says I was just going to ask if you fancied pasta tonight.

Often he will have really nice ideas, like recently he suggested that I find a cool guitar legend on a t-shirt for our good friend’s Anja and Erik son Bosse.

Bosse is a guitar nut, he is fortunate to have a daddy who plays guitar, a Gibson, and who has played in bands, notably in a band called Objection Overuled.

Bosse is very keen about his guitar playing, he has music lessons every Wednesday and his music teacher is very pleased with his ability and the progress he has made.

I thought Richie’s suggestion was good, I contacted his mum and asked if Bosse liked Jimmy Hendricks, as I had found a t-shirt site with an excellent Hendricks shirt.

As soon as I heard he was a big fan I ordered the shirt, it got sent straight to his home address, and caused a stir when it arrived.

The timing was great, Bosses’ best friend, he is also a big Hendricks fan, was there, and witnessed the parcel being opened and the t-shirt revealed.

Bosse was very pleased with the shirt, so pleased he sent me his first ever e-mail thanking me profusely for the Jimmy Hendricks t-shirt.

Turned out that the day the shirt arrived was the day of their school Christmas dinner, Bosse wore his shirt proudly and got mobbed by classmates and teachers who all agreed that it was a very cool t-shirt indeed.

What a good score to have made a 12 year old boys day, brilliant idea of Richie, and as always with one of his ideas it was spot on.
