Horrible awakening today by the telephone which stopped as soon as we were both awake.

For me being awake meant that I could instantly feel all the pain again and as it is alot it felt like a tidal wave had come over me.

Started to sob quietly but not too quietly for Richie who was over sitting by my bed right away stroking my head.

After a wee while my tears stopped and Richie started to massage my feet and legs and then gave me some thc.

Then Spike was put on my bed for our morning cuddle which is very important for both of us.

Once we had our morning cuddle I took the three baclofen tablets and the food supplement and some more thc and I was set up for the day.

It is a fine day, sunny and blue skies and warm enough to have the window open for abit.

A lovely earlpy spring day.

I do that with my own cat in the morning. It's a bonding time just for him and me.

Lovely pictures of you and Spike!!

Being awakened by the telephone is probably one of the rude events in a morning which we all can agree. Sorry that it also brings a rush of pain, so unpleasant and unwelcome.

Sunny, blue skies, open window....

Sounds lovely. Enjoy.

I absolutely LOVE those pix with Spike! What great photo ops!

Our Baby is sick right now after emergency vet run on Monday. He has Cushing's Disease.

Somehow his being sick makes cuddle time all the more important and special. He is a little doggie, a miniature pinscher, who gained 13 pounds in a month and a half, which was a tip off that something was wrong. normal weight is under 15 pounds.

So with medication daily, he will be fine for a while longer. Can live five more years or longer.

Med rituals around here are hysterical. Now the dog can get in the line too. LOL

Hi Anne,

Hope Baby gets better soon and the meds help to stabilise.

Our old dog Daisy always had to have any medication going.

If I had eye drops she wanted them, Richie always pretended to put drops in her eye and she would be happy.

Dogs are funny.
Take care.

Herrad
